Belgarion's World for Eternal Soldier

Introduction

"Why me?" This was the first RPG sourcebook I wrote. Eternal Soldier has what seemed to me the most logical system for the Will and the Word. Its skill system is nigh-on perfect for it, in fact. My RPGnet review has my full opinion.

In all honesty I think my Risus adaptation is better suited to the source material. This was my first sourcebook for any RPG, though, and so it carries a certain amount of sentimental value to me. Besides, I think it's good enough to stand, especially now that I've trimmed some dead weight out of it.

David & Leigh Eddings wrote all the books. For an overview, Matt Korth has put together an excellent timeline of the works.

For the Eddings' other major fantasy series, Collin Condray has put together GURPS Elenium. I haven't actually tried these rules, but they seem decent.
