Visser Three Morphs

Visser Three (later Visser One) morphs something new in about every third book. He really gets around, doesn't he? And in Animorphs #38: The Arrival, he finally learned the value of small. Unfortunately, that's all we know about that particular morph.

Acid Ape
Described by Rachel in Animorphs #49: The Return as 15-20 feet tall, yellow and covered in acid. That makes it Scale 3 or 4, with Supernormal Power: acid-covered skin.

Antarean Bogg
This creature from Animorphs #1: The Invasion is described only in the most general terms as big and tentacled, with lots of teeth. Given what was going on, the brief description is no surprise. It's probably around Scale 8, and has Supernormal Power: lots of tentacles.

Bievilerd
Visser One morphs this delta-winged inhabitant of the planet Ondar in Animorphs #45: The Revelation. It's relatively huge and has very sharp teeth, teeth the Visser expects can shred a Hork-Bajir. That puts it at about Scale 4 with Supernatural Power: flight.

Crawling Eye
Looking like it came straight out of an old movie, this creature's tentacles have an anesthetic effect. The effect isn't too strong, as can be seen in Animorphs #29: The Sickness.

Dule Fansa
This four-armed monster seen in Animorphs #20: The Discovery just barely fits in a typical suburban bedroom. That puts it at Scale 3 or so. It has no head. Instead, its face is in its torso. Each of its four arms ends in a large point, similar to a traffic cone. The arm muscles act like springs, allowing the cones to be extended at high speed toward the target. These "punches" reach four to six meters and have a +1 DF from the power behind them.

Eight
Described about as well as the Antarean Bogg, Visser Three morphs this at the end of Animorphs #1: The Invasion. It has eight heads, eight arms and eight legs (which can be treated as a single or several Supernormal Powers), and is bigger than a full-grown elephant. That puts it about Scale 13. It also has Supernormal Power: each head can spit fireballs.

Kaffitt bird
Visser Three morphs this in Animorphs #18: The Decision.

Kaftid
This eight-legged creature looks something like a cross between a crab and a seahorse. The long, narrow snout aids the kaftid in spitting acid. From its description in Animorphs #23: The Pretender, it appears to be about human size, but built lower to the ground. This gives it Superb Balance. The acid adds about +2 DF to attacks.

Land Crab
Seen in Animorphs #30: The Reunion. This creature is Scale 1 or 2 with Superb Balance, and has Supernormal Powers: chameleon-like color shifting and sharp claws (+1 to +3 DF). It also climbs hills better than a Hork-Bajir, but not as well as a mountain goat.

Lebtin Javelin Fish
Similar to a large Earth stingray done in bright yellow and blue, the javelin fish has several spearlike growths it can launch using water pressure. It swells up like a balloon when it does this, with all the vulnerabilities that implies. It swims faster than a dolphin and is maybe Scale 5 or so. Visser Three used this morph in Animorphs #12: The Reaction.

Lerdethak
Visser Three morphs this in Animorphs #11: The Forgotten.

Luminar
This seven-foot (Scale 1) humanoid native of Slegabb Five appears in Animorphs #36: The Mutation. Its skin is burning hot to the touch, and it can shoot fiery bolts from its hands.

Mardrut
Appearing in Animorphs #4: The Message, this aquatic creature lives on one of the Andalite moons. It propels itself at high speed using jets of water. It's about the size of a whale, putting it at Scale 18 or so. It also has Supernormal Power: Speed Scale 3.

Medusa
This creature from Animorphs #24: The Suspicion is described as being like a blood-orange Medusa's head, each "hair snake" carrying a scythe.

Muk
Appearing in Animorphs #37: The Weakness, this foul creature barely fits into a meeting room. It exudes a horrible stench, and has the strength to throw a full-grown polar bear around. Call it Scale 7, with Supernormal Power: Stench.

Red Ooze
Seen in Animorphs #49: The Return, this creature is described as, well, a red ooze. It has no regular form, and no sense of size is given. It can suffocate someone by clogging its airways.

Rock
Twenty feet tall with three legs and rocklike skin, this small-headed monster appears at the end of Animorphs #2: The Visitor. It's about Scale 10 and has Supernormal Power: three legs (better balance) and Supernormal Power: very hard skin (acts as armor). It's possible that this is a Jubba-Jubba.

Scaly Squid
Visser One used this morph in the battle at the end of Animorphs #50: The Ultimate. It has 20 barbed tentacles, each several inches thick, and is covered in hard scales. Its tongue can also be used as a striking weapon. This makes it Scale 5 or so, with three Supernormal Powers: multiple barbed tentacles, prehensile tongue, and natural armor.

Tentacled Thing
Appearing briefly in Animorphs #39: The Hidden, this creature has acid-shooting tentacles and a mouth full of very sharp teeth. We don't get a better look at it than that.

Twentipus
Well, what would you call it? Visser One morphs this toward the end of Animorphs #52: The Sacrifice. Ax describes it as looking like an octopus, but with 20 eyes and 20 tentacles. There is no sense of scale or anything else to go on.

Vanarx
This native of the Yeerk homeworld is also known as a Yeerkbane. It makes a brief appearance in Animorphs #2: The Visitor as a hologram. Scale is impossible to determine from the description, but it's clear the creature has one Supernormal Power: can suck the Yeerk right out of a Controller's head. It's not clear if the Controller is hurt in the process.
